BTG NATIONAL SELECTS TEAMS

U16-20 SELECTS TEAMS FOR SUMMER 2025

The BTG National Selects teams is a program for U16-20 athletes looking to learn, train, and compete in a high performance environment. This program is NOT for just anyone and the selection process is extensive to ensure that we are putting together the strongest team that represents our flag during international competition. The program is open for any and all Canadian youth athletes to apply. We also identify athletes at the BTG Showcase Events the summer prior. The program consists of 1 week of high performance training on a university campus, then the teams fly out to the location of the US Volleyball All-Star tournament. The US Volleyball All-Star Tournament brings in the best athletes that USA has to offer. Due to the caliber or play this tournament brings out a large quantity of US coaches/recruit staff from some of the biggest post secondary institutions in the USA.

- Program Costs Between $4000-$5000 (Taxes Inc) Price Varies Pending On Location Of Tournament, Hotels, Flights And Other Misc. Expenses.

- Payment Plans Are Provided To Help Out Families

- Players Must Attend The Entire Program Including All Training.

- Any Player Accepted Will Need To Pay A $1000 Non Refundable Deposit Upon Accepting.

- Red Shirts (Training Week Players Only) Are Selected. If An Athlete Is Injured During The Week Training The Red Shirt Will Take That Athletes Spot On The Roster.

- All Players Who Live Within The Province Of The Selected Training Location Must Live On Campus With The Team During The Entire Program.

- 15 Players ARE SELECTED PER TEAM (12 ROSTERED ATHLETES & 3 RED SHIRTS)
